New growing area

After a few months of hard work and lots of sweat and stolen time off from work; it's finally up and running.

Would like to say a big thank you to many many friends whom have given their time and advises to us. It has been a tough learning curve to me especially with no prior knowledge in managing a big plot of growing area. There are many people that i always grateful to... you know who you are... so guys, thank you!

Congratulations on acquiring your new growing area:)
Started following your blog not long ago. Keep up the good work! Love the flowers:)
I wanna ask if you have any experience in propagating orchids with Keiki pastes? I'm currently having my attachment now at a nursery and my project's on keiki pastes. I'm trying to gather as much information as possible. Would really appreciate some help if you know anything about it:)
Hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks Manfred! I had bought one during my first business trip to Taipei from Jian Guo Flower Market. I have not used it as i was told that it would have undesirable effects, eg, mutation, on the plant. I mainly propagate my plant via "selfing". Not sure how much does this help you in our project.

Are you on board GCS? You can find out more from the forum i think.

Cheers

Hello again Manfred, i had passed it on to a friend quite a long time ago and don't think there is anymore left.

Selfing... simple, just remove the anther cap and the pollen will be exposed. Put the pollen into the stigma and you are done.

Ohh, hahah. it's alright then:)
hmm, but i thought plants will usually prevent self pollination from happening?
