Phaleanopsis bellina (the H21 breeds)

Here are some of the H21 bellina from CML. Its from the same breeding program but turns out differenty and yet all very beautiful.

CC gave me this, the biggest seedling from the whole lot.



I bought this from CML together with the guys from the nursery and gave it away to Isla as his wedding gift.

Phaleanopsis El Tiger

Melvin gave me a kiki from his mother plant. The blotches are very nice and distinctive, it also has a pinkish lip. Too bad, my phone camera didnt manage to capture it.

Bc Makai 'Mayumi'

This is a cross of B. nodosa x C. bowringian

Of cos, got it as a cutting from CC... :)

Phaleanopsis Dunman High

Bought this together with the amboinensis from LMH. My one and only Phal Dunman High turns out to be liked this... I like the color very much and going to get another one with blotches or two tones.

Doritaenopsis

CC bought this for me sometime back, shld be early last year. It still doing very well and keep blooming without fail.

African Violets

These are the forgotten ones. Bought this from bluefly last year but they are not doing well under my care. Gave them to my colleague and i think she has done a fabulous job in growing them.

Phalaenopsis tetraspis

Realised that i have never post a picture of this plant which CC gave to me sometime back. This picture was taken few weeks ago but there are more flowers currently blooming in the nursery.

Brassavola Singapura, B. martiana x B. nodosa

My very first brassavola orchid and its a gift from Wairon.

This hybrid was created by Wairon and registered between 2004 to 2006. Was prompted by acc whether had i detected the fragrant of the flower... It was only last night then i took a sniff... perfect! The fragrance is indeed very very nice...





Looking forward for this plant to grow into multiple growth

We bought this from TIOS and finally deflask about three weeks ago. Post it here so that i can keep track of its growth.

Cattleya pink diamond

This is the first cattleya that bloom under my hand furthermore it is grow along the corridor at level 6 of my block.

It have two bulbs but not sure why the other bulb didnt develop well.



See how big it has become.




It should fully open by tonight. Cant wait for it.. just to bad that i dnt have my own balcony else i will be able to smell the nice fragrant.

Phalaenopsis Su-An Cricket x Amboinensis flava

This rebloom again and it seems to be coming back with a vengence. With more spikes and in much better condition.

A pleasant surprised

An usual gardening day turned out to be a pleasant surprised. Someone brought his bellina to the nursery for award judging and before the judging commence, some of the judges were walking around the nursery. Wairon shown them the Phal buena jewel and immediately one of the judge, David Lim, asked whether would i like to send this plant for award judging as well. I hesitated caused im not into all these award thingy. Wairon immediately said lets do it and hence this plant was awarded a HCC and with a variety name of "Ron". There might be misunderstanding by certain people but i would like to pay this tribute to Wairon as he was the one that sold me this plant and he is also the one that is taking care of it. As such, i think it is only right that i do this.

Phalaenopsis bellina blue

Bought this during Gardentech early this year from Amos. Didnt expect it to bloom so fast. The only grumble that i have for this plant is that it spike behind the biggest leaf. Hopefully the spike will grow longer so that the flower will be easily viewable.

M so glad that my bellina is blooming again. This is the first time that this plant bloom. The leaves are big and round and the flower has a good form.

Phalaenopsis Buena Jewel (violacea x Gelblieber)

Bought this from Wairon about two months ago after seeing chien's posting on the similar plant. However, this one turns out to be more greenish.

The pictures below were taken last week. Most of the bulbs flowered and it put a grand display of it potential.

BLC orange nuggets and Dendros

Had never bloomed many orchids at where i lived. This one in particular was purchased from Wairon in bloomed and it faded after CNY and it first bloom under my careof. So happy.





This mini dendro was gave to me by my sister. It has been with me coming to one year and it threw out three spikes this time around. Im kind of late in taking picture when it just bloomed.



The white dendro was bought from one of the nursery in Kovan. It almost died on me. Good thing was that i shifted it to level 6 and woalah...
