Update on Phalaenopsis Tsay's Evergreen TH44

This plant threw out another flower. Is my eyes playing trick on me or age is catching up. The second flower seems to be larger as compared to the first. As our weather here is relatively warm, most of the flower will be relatively smaller as opposed to those folks that grow them in cooler part of the world.

This is the H21 that acc gave me. If finally bloomed over at my place after a few months. The firt bulb blasted however the second one flowered and there is another bulb on the way. Strangly, the form of the flower is turning up very differently when i grew it in the nursery.

Phalaenopsis violacea coerulea

Got this from Woon Leng some time back. Didn't really like the blue color as it seems to be washed out. Would prefer those intensive blue type.

My boss, ES and staff had arranged for a lunch and it turned out to be a birthday lunch treat from them. We went to a Italian restaurant along East Coast Road. The ambience is nice and so do the food.

Update on tank

Most of the plants are doing well except for one particular one. The tank should be fully cycled by now and had added more fishes last night.

Tiger lotus (Nymphaea maculata)

Just trim of the background centre plant (Synnema triflorum) yesterday as it has over grown and shaded off some of the plants at the bottom. The one that is not doing well is Vallisneria spiralis.

Some of the foreground plants include Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus tenellus etc.
