Brassocattleya Maikai 'Mayumi' HCC/AOS

This is a cross of Brassavola nodosa and Cattleya bowringiana. It's interesting how the dark spots in the throat of a B. nodosa flower are not always obvious, but when it's used as a parent they are always dominate like they are in this famous cross.

Phalaenopsis violaeca "Mentawai"

Second time i posted this and the more i look at it, the more i like it. Its like the flower is smiling at me everytime when i look at it. Hopefully the leaves will look nicer in time to come.

Phalaenopsis penang ruby

Bought this during our Cameron trip from Robert. It is growing very well over at Wairon and developed two flower buds. I brought them home as my growing rack and lighting are ready.

Here is the bloom, the lower lip has very intense purple color.

Bought these two paph recently and they managed to bloom successfully over at my place... Never thought that i would actually go into paphiopedilums. I would like to try out some different kind of orchids genere as much as i can. However those that required special kind of treatments example, cool room, aircon are definately out for me.
